Finding Your Muse: Nicolas Bruno & Robert and Shana Parkeharrison

The first three images belong to Nicolas Bruno from his series about sleep paralysis. I would like to capture the otherworldly feel of dreaming and not being able to wake up from it. I intend to capture this environment for my set of photos, where things begin to not make sense. I would like to push this idea for my series a bit further by incorporating the pieces called Architect's Brother by Robert & Shana Parkeharrison. Ultimately hinting at things physically occurring that would not naturally occur, and creating my set of characters that progress through this challenge in the series. Aesthetically combing both photographers style but possibly keeping color and continue experimenting with textures.

Portrait Retouch ( Before and After) - Danny Lizano

My concept is a narrative scene which depicts a couples dramatic journey. The style reflects the exaggeration of a soap opera and presented in a movie poster setup. The retouching approach I took for this project was more of hiding the "behind the scenes" that goes on in such an elaborate photo shoot. I tried to create a dynamic composition, and create an intense moment with the absent of color and high contrast with the textured background.

Architectural Blend - Danny Lizano

The Guardian - After a devastating catastrophe, all that remained in the gardens of a palace was a swing set that belonged to the child of a royal family. Being a lonely child and playing on this swing set with no one to push her, her only true friends were the statues that loomed over her in the gardens.

Old is New Again - Danny Lizano

I tried to represent a moment in the past that had no reference to a certain specific time frame. I tried to allow some of the landscape to show through to give a mood/theme for the concept. The concept relates to a festive-like event in a city and even though the setting is suppose to represent being fast paced, the texture helps define that while still concealing some of the content.
