Night Prowler

  1. This image feels mystical; I love the foggy effect that you've added. It is an interesting and beautiful subject, and the photograph of the stars looks fantastic. One change I will recommend is reconsidering your composition because the horse is directly in the center. Moving the horse to the right side of the image would make the composition more effective.

  2. The photograph you've created here is so striking and very beautiful. The wispy, fogged environment and deep indigo tones creates a somber yet ephemeral feel for me. The central focus seems deliberate, but I'd be interested to see how the image would be transformed if the horse were in motion, off-centered, or even coming towards the foreground/viewer. The stars are a nice touch. I'm not sure how you edited, but there is some rim lighting behind the outline of the mountain range that feels slightly inconsistent/out of place. Overall great job!

  3. This is a great image and I enjoy the softness of the blues in the foreground and background. It almost has a ghosted effect to it which creates that mystical quality of the image. Maybe you could try to lighten up the sky just a touch in the top left hand corner to distinguish the tops of the hills from the sky like it is on the rihgt side. Other than that you did a really good job for this project.

  4. I'm pretty sure there's something sinister about that horse. This screams horror story. and I think capturing that feeling is a good ... thing?

  5. This is a really great use of using the night to totally transform a well-known subject. Nice.
I would love to see more of these. It oscillates between a disturbing dream and melancholy.
