  1. A very good shot but I believe you can add more brushes to your distressing process.

  2. I do particularly enjoy the non-conventional subject matter. The idea that someone used their time, effort, and expensive resources to take such a mundane photo of a typically forgotten object is well conveyed through the weathering and distressing of the picture. If i had one complaint, it is the lack of apparent contrast in the image. If you squint everything feels like it's the same shade of grey, except for the blacks. So my recommendation would be to push that contrast as far as you can while preserving the information in the frame.

  3. I find the subject matter amusing, and ironic - seeing as it is a modern item. It feels like there should be a story behind the image, even though it's simply of a toilet. I like that!

  4. This composition is definitely one of my favorites. It's simple but still gives an archaic feel because it's an abandoned toilet in the middle of the field the liquid chemical quality of the edges is very successful and true to the process of Wet Plate.

  5. I enjoy the overall composition of this image. The distress marks are executed very well but maybe they can be used a little bit further. Try including spaces where the image doesn't show through due to lack of the photographic emulsion reaching that part of the plate. :)

  6. Stunning, you never know how photogenic a toilet can be, right? I love the effects happening in the top left of the frame, however it is a bit weird how its equally consistent throughout all edges of the image just framing the beautiful subject. I'd recommend to break up that consistency even more so on the bottom of the frame, it starts to feel weighed down. The dust particles I like!
