Tasks being done from multiple arms are walking the dog, ironing, pouring coffee, cleaning and cooking. The background also has a blend of three rooms, the kitchen, bathroom and clothing closet. The scale of the person and dog is a scaled down to make the background look bigger. The placement of the subject is off to the side a rule of thirds, as well as the dog. The even lighting shows that you are indoors with even lighting throughout the house, also that there may not be much sunlight coming through the windows. The photo looks like the subject matter has so much house task and chorus going on that she needs more hands to get them all done. She is scaled down to a small size maybe because all these chorus are taking over and becoming too big for her to handle. As well the blurry spinning background, it could mean her heads spinning cause she is so overwhelmed with how much she has to get done. I think you did a really good job going after this idea. I loved that you included multiple rooms in the back behind her to show that it is not just one specific place in the house. You really used photoshop to your advantage by adding those extra rooms blending along with the multiple hands. I also really liked the expression of the dog looking up to her.

I interpret that the concept of this image is about the daily tasks of a mother. It appears that there are so many responsibilities that need to be fulfilled within a matter of time. Mothers have been associated with tasks such as cooking and cleaning since the beginning of time. Despite how overwhelming this may be to most people, mothers still find a way to get all of their work done as well as personal duties such as staying in shape, as this woman portrays here.
After evaluating the composition I presume that this piece is depicting the daily life of a woman. The main figure of this image is the female. Due to the scaling differences between her and the dog, we can presume that since she is bigger she is the main focus of interest. Since she has the six arms coming out of her body all depicting different everyday tasks such as cooking and cleaning, we can interpret this as a metaphor for all the tasks that she is responsible for completing. The circular distortion in the background could depict the endless yet somewhat stressful cycle she finds herself living in on a daily basis. Despite this cycle, she does not appear to be stressed out. Instead she appears to have an expression that shows she's just continuing to push through whatever life throws at her with no resistance.

She's holding a pan, a cleaning solution, a dog leash attached to an adorable dog, an iron and a coffee cup and kettle. She is focused, via her gaze, on the coffee cup in front of her. The cup is isolated by the bright yellow top she is wearing. She's also wearing what appears to be yoga pants and socks - in general, a casual but active wardrobe. The woman seems to float in space as the background behind her is a combination of several different rooms within a typical house. There is a kitchen, a bathroom and a closet that are readable. The background appears to swirl together in a circular pattern behind her so that the edges of the different rooms appear to have blurred together.
This work seems clearly about how busy the woman is and how many tasks she is working on. In a way, it appears to mimic partially, the Vitruvian Man by DaVinci, though his work was largely about proportion and this clearly has a message. The fact that she is doing so much at once, combined with the blurred circular lines in the background, give a feeling of motion. The woman's focus on the coffee, a stimulant, echos the idea that there is lots to be done and she must fuel herself with caffeine.
As a transformative portrait, this is very successful. It shows the woman is very busy and juggles a multitude of tasks. The arm placement is a bit odd as the extra arms seem to grow from her back instead of her shoulders, but the content is clear. It could make sense to utilize the woman's legs also (like in Vitruvian Man) by adding some running shoes to also indicate speed. I suppose the feet could be working on tasks as well! I also realize I keep wanting to refer to the woman as a mother, but this is likely because I already know this. It could be a helpful clue to have the family wall of photographs in the background or some indicator of motherhood if this is important to the discussion. Finally, I would want to know why she seems to be floating in space. It does suggest an almost godlike or spiritual quality, but that's a stretch based on this composition.
I see an overwhelming amount of tasks that are needing to be done. I love that everything is blurring around in the background. The composition of the image is nice, you have a lot of movement in the photo and it makes the viewer look at the whole image. I love how the dog is just chilling there. I see one person doing all the work.
Again when looking at this it seems like there are a lot of things that are needing to be done. The image is very overwhelming which is awesome because with that amount of tasks that are needing to be done it should be overwhelming. To me I see this as women have so many household things to do and there is not enough credit given to them. Its interesting to see it all in one image because it makes you stop and think about how hard it is to maintain a household.
I love how the images are all blurred together it kind of reminds me of a cartoon when the character is running around and all the backgrounds are all blurred or the character is trying to put things away really fast so they have a lot of arms. I relate to this because to me the background being blurred is like me trying to remember all the things I need to get done and everything runs together. I think since the woman in the photo is trying to complete so many tasks, I think you should blur her feet to like she's running all around the house trying to finish everything.
