Since I chose to do a simple portrait for this project I felt that it was necessary for me to frame is at some point in time. I did this by adding the pipe and having my model put on his glasses.
I thought that of the images from our class, this one was the strongest. To me it looks the most like a wet plate- like Brittany said, it goes from tack-sharp to very soft/out-of-focus, which is very much reminiscent of the wet plates I saw while researching. The edges are well done, I feel that it is just beat up enough, and the angle on the subject's face looks like an old school wet plate. The one thing that could be changed is the liquefy tool- by the bottom right of the hair, on the hand, on the glasses. Great job overall.
