  2. I think the location you chose for this shoot is great, it gives it off a cold lonely vibe. The girl standing by herself with the blanket also brings home the cold lonely feeling. Since she is turned towards the pond it makes me think she is deep in thought or may have possibly lost someone she loves. The reason I say that is because of the rope that is in focus, to me it could have once been a happy place but now its broken. It kind of makes me think of Bridge to Terabithia. The point of view makes me think that whoever took the photo is hiding in the bush and shouldn't be a part of this girls reflective moment. I think overall it is a successful use of the rule of thirds, also having the pond be mostly out of focus give you a space to rest your eyes. I definitely think the photo looks old, but maybe could have benefited from a little more texture within the photo. I like what is going on in the bottom left corner but want the lines to be sharper/look more like broken glass. Overall I think you did great!

  3. There is a stream by my house and I thought it was the perfect place that looks like the girl is in the middle of the forest somewhere unbothered by others. Somewhere quiet that is also a relaxing place. I had her face the water as if she was thinking and gazing into the water and the rope hanging over the stream. She has a white blanket around her to contrast her from the ground and water, but it also shows that she may be lonely and cold as she is thinking.
