Scale exaggerated- Kasey

  1. I don't see exaggerated scale coming through as a concept in this work. The texture in the foreground is interesting, but you need another object apart from the figure in order to capture some kind of scale exaggeration.

  2. I find this really interesting and ethereal, however I do agree more exaggeration in scale is needed. Perhaps through more objects, or a clearer portrayal of the setting your figure is currently in.

  3. I love the colors in this piece but I am not sure if I understand the concept of exaggerated scale in it.

  4. I do wish to see an object or something to bring out the exaggeration of this image. If she is laying, what is she laying on? I believe we are also missing shadows in this one. It seems a bit to still and no movement in the water as well when the hand touches it.

  5. I like the composition! I enjoy the colors and I think it's interesting, but I don't know if your concept is really coming through. I also think that to help with the scale aspect of the project maybe you should zoom out a little bit so that we can tell that she's small and in this puddle. If you do that maybe you could add other elements like she could be on top of something floating in the puddle or just chilling in the puddle with other objects or bugs or something. But that all would depend on what your concept is. I think this is a good start you just need to push it a little more!

  6. I'm not really clear on what's happening here as the gesture and position of the figure doesn't quite match the location. I think you will definitely need to modify to bring out the scale/proportion concept in a stronger way. The space is too abstract to visually understand the relationships.
