  1. Snail Island is a great concept and it really comes through in the imagery. I never imaged snails as aquatic creature so I appreciate the creative perspective there. The varying scale of the snails does push the concept further as well. I feel like there is a story about these snails as a colony and I wonder how they interact with each other. One thing you might try would be adding something in the foreground to help give the view some ground to start from.

  2. Glorious. The "snail scale" is amazing and works well everywhere in the piece. I especially love that colossal snail emerging over the mountain. I might add another snail in the water closer to the viewer for better understanding.

  5. Beautiful work here! I love the colors and the scenery.. the scale and placement of the snails is pretty spot on. The only recommendation I would maybe give is to add a it add a bit more reflection in the ocean, as the sky is super bright and I believe would have a more intense reflection. Great job Ashley!!

  6. I love this concept. it's very illustrative and cute.

If I had one criticism, it's the reflection in the water? I would exaggerate the snails addition to that reflection to make sure the audience can tell it's there.

I also think the snails are a litter flatter than the surroundings, maybe pushing that contrast would help?

    Well done.
