I've always thought of this building looking like a boat and I though it was a good opportunity to get it near some water and show that the things we design should have in mind the environment and surroundings of their specific location. I believe that the building looks nicer here and the building itself has a nicer view.
I feel like this is very clean and detailed. I do feel like there is no need for a border though as it takes away some of the screen. I think leaving it open just the way it was when you finished would make it more appealing because it cuts off some of the work.
ReplyDeleteI also feel like this is a good concept to use. Sometimes it is better to just keep in mind of the environment you are in and specific location when trying to build something or even clearing something out. And I feel like the location on this is ideal. This makes it seem like a very calm area, especially with the seagull in the background of the image.
This is a very warm image and I think you do a good job on creating that feel. It’s not too bright and its not too dark leaving a realistic mark on this piece and the colors on the leaves are really vibrant which also gives it that fall time vibe.
This work easily fits within our larger culture because just like my design, I think the world is going for more modern and futuristic looks to appeal to some of these other countries. With our advance technology I believe that buildings with more windows and larger scales are being implemented more into the world than ever before. Most of the time on building you see more of a brick layout but now I believe that things are changing which could be a good thing or bad.
In conclusion, this is one of the stronger pieces I seen, I just wish the border wasn’t there so you can see more of the detail because it is covering up half of the work. The reflection in the building also is very clean, and I know that is one of the things I really struggled with. But besides the border and maybe that spot between the building and road where you can see the railing this is great! Good Job!!
