Architectural Blend

  1. In the terms of concept and execution, I feel like yours one definitely one of the strongest. You applied your technical skill (very well) to send a crisp message. Despite a few tweaks mentioned in class, like eliminating the brick, I believe that this was a very successful endeavor. You did a great job matching the window with the lines of the walls and creating that perspective, all the way down to the colors.

  2. Okay- so I actually like this one a lot- but I think that there are a few things that could be pushed further. The concept is really awesome, probably one of my favorites in class, but I think that maybe if there was someone in the window it might complete the look. I bet it would be hard to actually get someone to do that, so it would take more time than I think you probably had to do the project- because I'm sure a lot of people would not cooperate. I also think that for this image, while the tones are pretty cohesive, I think that the photograph might be more successful if it was in black and white.

I really really love your concept though!! It reminds me of Spy Kids, where they would put the money in the microwave and food would come out.
