  2. Subjectively, I "hate" it? (but in an exaggerated hyperbolic way, it's fine) My personal issues with the concept are only because the ultimate focus point ends up distracting from the excellent job you did integrating those people into the scene in post. They are so believably inserted that it took me several pass throughs to realize they weren't there from the start.

    My suggestion would be to revisit that smoke/steam effect. Having done so myself in my previous project for this class, I can attest there are some pretty great tutorials on how to make good smoke effect brushes on YouTube.

  3. the incorporation of the people in the background is pretty solid. Don't forget to give whatever objects you add the same shadows as the light source of your background image. This will really help to ground the objects and make them appear less 'fake'. In terms of using the gif aspect to your advantage, you could have brought the train 'down the tracks' to make it appear as if it was coming towards you.
