The use of color over the skin works very well. The transformation of the faces could be pushed in order to truly feel the Jekyll and Hyde vibe. This is an instance where using the liquify tool to over exaggerate would have worked well.
I like the finished product, but you could have pushed it further by adding makeup - for example - to the figures to enhance their opposing characters.
The colour palette choice was a great risk since this combo can be heavily associated with a holiday. I think you pulled it off well though since the final has a very opposite emotion to it. it is very ominous, good job!
This image is very well constructed and exceeds the guidelines of the assignment. I love the alternate ego that you are portraying of yourself. The hair on the first figure could be sharpened a bit. Other than that you did a great job!

ReplyDeleteIt looks very clean and easy to understand, I really like the smoke effect. Don't be afraid to add more exaggeration to your characters.

ReplyDeleteI love the colors in this piece! I do however wish that the figures were the same size, and that Hyde had the rest of her legs.
